Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, this relatively small cabin needed to expand significantly to accommodate the growing family that calls it home during the summer months. The 3-story, 2000 S.F. addition contains 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, including a large master suite, plus a small sitting room. The addition is connected to the existing house by a large screened-in outdoor living room, whose sweeping views, monumental stone fireplaces and vaulted timber ceilings make it the focal point of the home. The existing cabin’s main level was also extensively renovated to include a much larger dining space and bar that flow into a spacious modern kitchen.
