This project gutted nearly every square inch of an aging double cottage in Uptown New Orleans for conversion into a 3 Bed/2.5 Bath single family residence. In addition to an almost entirely reimagined layout with all new fixtures, finishes, cabinetry, appliances, and HVAC system, the scope also included a new generously sized screened porch overlooking a courtyard style rear yard, plus extensive exterior repairs to the trim, roofing, and siding. The focal point of the home is its open and airy kitchen and entertaining space at the back of the house, a major improvement over the previously dark and compartmentalized floor plan.
