This rustic contemporary “dogtrot” style expansion adds 1100 SF of indoor and outdoor living space to an existing modest country cabin. It contains two lofted suites overlooking the Bogue Chitto River, sleeping up to four people each. The bedroom pods are connected by a large vaulted screened porch with a monumental outdoor fireplace. The addition is linked to the existing cabin by a new mudroom entrance accessed from a lower level open-air deck. Muted wood tones coupled with cool slate blue trim provide an understated, balanced design aesthetic both inside and out.
